Out of Home (OOH) advertisement has gotten a lot better lately. Gone are the days of just plastering a city or targeting a ZIP code: hyper-local and geo-targeted poster campaigns now stage campaigns in specific settings. Basically, hyper-local media include all outlets that allow clients to target customers in regions smaller than a Nielsen TV market (DMA)—down to the city blocks or even storefront. An innovative media agency that is focusing on this innovation is Geomentum. Now you can even have people check into the ads via their location based service.
